I am in "party mode"again this time of year.  Planning for B's seventh birthday celebration next month! I came across this banner today on Etsy and just had to share.  Would be so versatile for almost any party, boy or girl, because of the colors!

Since school is back in, I have been forced to "re-think" my organization of school work and artwork.  While I have devised a notebook system for my boys, I am still perfecting it and if it does not work, this great book idea might do the trick!

back to normal...

As you have noticed all around you,  school is back in session and fall is in the air!  Pumpkins and mums are appearing in the stores, along with LOTS of Halloween costumes!

Here are the"tiny humans".... well, one not so tiny anymore, he started middle school this year!  But, here they are.  Side note, I promised Cameron this would be the last year I would make him take a picture on the first day of school.  We will see if I can hold my promise!

a subtle change....

I have spent the past week trying to get "caught up" on so many things in my life.  One of which is this blog.  For a variety of reasons, I have not been able to sit down and spend the time I used to with it.  It has been almost like "therapy" for me to blog, so I am trying to get back into it!  Hmmm....  I guess I am saying I need therapy?!? That's a whole other post........!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I added a few blogs I recently discovered along the right hand side under "my blog list."  One of my favorites is this one, if you are not familiar with it, you should take a peek!

summer... all "wrapped" up with Instagram photos!

Umm....   does anyone know what happened to summer?  I think I blinked and it was gone.  Now, we are into cool nights and mornings with warm days (which I do love!).  But, I am really missing the "throw on a sundress and flip flops" attitude!   I feel like I have to "think" more when it comes to fall clothes.

So, as you can tell from the lack of blog posts, our summer was quite busy.  But, as always, lots of fun adventures were had with friends and family and fun in the sun!
