GWL

Cameron's 9th birthday was earlier this month, April 1st to be exact! We celebrated with a shark party in our backyard... lots of fun! But, we also allowed Cameron to choose one friend and spend one night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord. So, over the weekend the GWL was our family adventure!

I have to say, if you have older children (age 3 plus in my opinion), you have to make the trip to a Great Wolf Lodge destination. The boys absolutely loved it! Cameron took his very close friend, Gresham, and they had a blast together. I did not realize it, but there are many other activities for the kids outside of the water park. Although, you could spend all day at the water park. Bryson and I took a break from the H2O and attended a really cute "Bouncing with the Bullfrogs" class. And, there is this "game" called MagiQuest that seemed to be the big hit for all the kids. There is an additional charge for this, but it seemed worth it. Due to time, we told Cameron we would have to do that one next time we stayed there.

And, although it is an enormous facility, I was extremely impressed by how well maintained and well run the GWL was. Everything was very clean! Everything! That made Mommy very happy! And, the lifeguards that we saw on duty seemed very well trained and professional. I did not "fear" for the kids safety there! Good points in my opinion!
