a visit to Krispy Kreme

I forgot to mention in talking about our day trip to Wrightsville Beach last Friday that we ended our trip with our "tradition!" Cameron and I used to take day trips to Wrightsville all the time on Fridays when he was still in preschool and before Bryson was born. It was "our thing." We would leave in the morning, drive to the beach, picnic, play, change clothes (at Wendy's!), have dinner on the docks at the FishHouse Grill, then finish off the day by having hot 'n now doughnuts at Krispy Kreme! There is just nothing better than a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut! So, that started "our tradition" of how we ended any trip to Wrightsville/Wilmington. And, of course, we had to end last Friday's trip the same way. This was actually Noah's inaugural visit to the Krispy Kreme for hot 'n now! Hopefully in about 2 years he'll be sharing doughnuts with his brothers after a day on the beach too!
