Every year around Easter I send out a photo Easter/Spring card to my parents and grandparents and a few friends that live out of town that we don't get to see often. This year, Easter seemed to sneak up on me, and I was a bit pushed for time! I really did not have time to do the "usual" upload to a website and have them print a card for me. Tiny Prints and Minted are really good sites for this by the way! So, this year after Melissa Tsao took some really cute outdoor photos of the boys, I created my own card. I just wanted to share how cute it turned out and how EASY and inexpensive it was to do. This idea could be used for holiday cards of any type and also a cute Mother's Day card!
So, I simply took two different colors of pre-cut card stock and folded one to make the"card" portion. I took the other one and printed on the computer the "Happy Easter" message, rounded the corners, then stuck it on the top as the top "layer." On the inside of the card, I simply took the wallet sized photos and made a little "collage" motif. Then folded the card back, punched holes in the bottom, tied a cute little ribbon through, and voila.... instant, very cute, very chic holiday photo card!
Maybe this could give you some inspiration for your own Mother's Day card or any upcoming event you may have!
